It is not uncommon for wheelchair users to have difficulty finding jobs. First there is the problem with accessibility. Many workplaces around the world are just not wheelchair accessible. Second, there is the problem with discrimination. Many employers just prefer to hire able bodied people, because they believe that there will be fewer “problems”.
